The Sleeping Bear

The Sleeping Bear is a colossal polar bear that lives in a state of constant hibernation in the Winter of the Feywild. It is often thought of as a landmark rather than a fey creature due to its stillness. Stories say that it awakens once every few hundred years to search for food.

Silvereen and many of her white furry animal friends live within the warm fur of the Sleeping Bear. She considers it her solemn duty to protect the bear from harm during its long repose.
