The Lift

Along the northern wall of Scorch Alley is a large, tall, mechanical elevator. It uses a pulley system to raise a platform to the top of the 200-foot-high wall. The platform is large enough to raise one moderate-sized wagon and a few horses.
The Lift is maintained and operated by a group of tinker gnomes, who charge 10gp per use. They hire guards to protect it.
