Geography
The nation of Snavon forms the northerwest corner of the civilized world. It is bordered to the east by
Drymond, the north by
Windvast Desert, the south by the
Zymoran and
Smokewhistle Mountains, and the west by an unexplored reach of forests and hills. Snavon is ruled by a council of wealthy leaders that convene in
Snavopolis, a massive metropolis and the capital of the nation. Snavon River flows out of the Zymoran mountains, near the west entrance of
Subterranea, past Snavopolis, and along a few farming villages, and ends in
Chilp Lake. A thick forest south of the river gradually becomes sparser until it reaches the Smokewhistle Mountains.
Demographics
Snavon is diverse simply on account of its large population, but humans, gnomes, and dwarves are more common than other races.
The wealthy corporations running Snavopolis are happy to hire whatever muscule is available; everyone combat-capable in Snavon either works for them or is a traveler that just hasn't been hired yet. As for combat styles, magic and arcanotech are popular, as well as nonlethal combat styles (melee and grappling).
