Body Features

Ma'qensi has the typical longer pointed ears of the Elves, but is on the shorter side.

Facial Features

Ma'qensi has a rosy complexion covered in freckles and a soft, sloping nose. She has very gentle features that make her seem kind to strangers and friends alike.

Personal history

Ma'qensi was born in a small Elven village near the southeast coast. Growing up, she quickly grew to hate the taste of fish and the feeling of the things in the sea.

Motivation

Ma'qensi seeks to understand all societies in an effort to achieve ultimate peace between them. She has taken residence in the Library as it gives her access to writings and peoples from everywhere that is known. Over time, this has grown into a desire to be a political player and shape that peace. This is due to the fact that, in her time of study, she feels that she may be the only being that understands the whole of the information well enough to make the changes required to attain that peace.

Likes & Dislikes

Master Dei dislikes people that make a mockery of her work. She was instrumental in the ejection of Sha'ayen Al'enn from the Library after his hatred of humans advanced to far to be allowed to continue. His infamous "After thousands of years of civilisation, as Elven philosopher by the name of Ma'qensi Dei noticed that all of the food they loved most was a combination of a food heavy in carbohydrates, some kind of sauce, and an appropriate cheese to compliment the flavour profile. This is has been abbreviated over time to the "Carbs, Sauce, & Cheese Theory". After her discovery, Ma'qensei declared that Carbs, Sauce, and Cheese ought to be celebrated, sparking a high regard for outings in which humans over-pay to be fed carbs, sauce, and cheese by other humans. A dish called pi'izah is hailed as the most delicious food in all known history, usurping even potatoes." essay was a satirical misinterpretation aimed at her work with social philosophy; he would later denounce her as a human-loving fraud as he was being escorted out of the Library.
Along with people that decry her work, Master Dei also bears a strong dislike for fish and the feeling of seaweed born from her childhood in the Elven communities along the southeastern coast.

Personality Quirks

Over her years of study, Ma'qensi's countenance and sense of humour have become an almost indistinguishable mixture of all the societies she has studied. This means that she speaks in a very strange manner (which is univerally agreed upon by all that encounter her, especially the humans), and her idea of amusement has been reduced to badly scrawled drawings of ducks.
