Dragonborn possess a humanoid frame filled with dragonoid characteristics, such as claws, teeth, and scales.
Genetics and Reproduction
Dragonborn reproduce sexually, but they do not carry live young; instead, they lay eggs. Genetically, a dragonborn who inherits magic from a draconic ancestor will see that magic manifest itself as it would for that ancestor, even if that dragonborn does not outwardly appear to be descended from that kind of dragon.

History
The dragonborn once ruled a vast empire in the east under the guidance of dragons, but soon became engaged in a long war with the giants that laid waste to the Reaches and both of their civilizations. Towards the end of the war, the home island of the dragonborn, Lydia, was lost, scattering the remaining members of the race across Archaeon.
Common Myths and Legends
The dragonborn follow Bahamut, and become paladins of good and justice. However, some follow his sister, Tiamat, into rage and darkness.
