Aarakocra

Aarakocrans rarely ever settle, spending most of their lives migrating aka travelling. The main population of Aarakocra in Arcasai are on the Forested Isle, and Aarakocrans return there at least once every few years.

History

Aarakocrans are very rare, and tend to be fickle about sharing their history, so not much is known. However, they know a strange language that appears to be from beyond Arcasai.

To an Aarakocra, feeling the wind in one's feathers is the highest joy. Inversely, this means being tied down to a single place is almost nightmarish. As a nomadic people, the concept of ownership, settlements, and agriculture is odd to them. They will help a fellow traveler in need if they are able and move on quickly after. It is very hard to pin an Aarakocra down and form a long-lasting relationship.
