Arcania

The world of Arcania is one characterized by the prevalence of Arcana, an ancient force that evolved alongside the plants and the animals and supplanted itself as a vital part of life. This mystical force has existed since the beginning, shaping the lands and breathing life into the world. It's taken a long time for the people of Arcania to understand it, but the power to change the world is now in their hands.   Of course, not long after, the people of the world started to abuse it. The early years of civilization was a constant struggle between powers seeking to dominate the world and, every time, Arcana was at the center of the conflict. It has led to the rise and fall of the Ashuran. It had engulfed the world in a Ring of Fire twice over. It had been used to wage a campaign of terror across the land. As the people of Arcania learn more and more about this magical force, the danger it poses continues to rise.   Yet the world would cease to be without it.
