Hanna Lynn

Queen Hanna Lydia Lynn

People celebrate Hanna every year in the month that was named after her, despite what happened to her being quite the tragedy. She was King Kit I's wife, and supported his reign for ten years, until she died a tragic death at the age of 31. Her sudden death shocked the kingdom and resulting in many months of mourning, especially due to the fact that her life work had been so monumental. Here is a short excerpt of her diary:
Dear Diary,
Today, the most unexpected, shocking, unbelievable thing happened! I was chosen as the new King's bride! I would never have thought that I, a lowly girl from a poor household, would be chosen! Honestly, I don't even know how I feel about this position. I hate the fact that I have to marry a complete stranger. But there is one thing I know. I am going to use this position to the best of my abilities. After all, it's not every day that a low class girl like me gets the opportunity to bring some change into the world. I have two main goals:
-to improve education and make it accessible to low class people. Maybe I can even get schools for girls! Imagine that!
-to decrease the rift between the classes. You know, the rich should get poorer, and the poor richer.
Honestly, I don't know if I'll actually be able to make an impact at all. But I can at least try. If I'm stuck with an unfamiliar man in an unfamiliar position for the rest of my life, then I might as well take advantage of it.
Hanna
During her life, she did lots of community service to help the poor, and she started and personally funded three schools for the lower class. She was known as the most influential and beautiful queen of Arburg, and after her death, in the last month of the year, her widowed husband, whom she had eventually grown to love with all her heart, decided that her life's work should be honoured. Therefore an annual festival was put into place. It would take place from the 25th to the 30th Hanna. At the start of the festival, they honour her life, and then towards the end, they look to a new year and celebrate the end of another successful year of Arburg's existence. During these days, families exchange gifts, extravagant feasts are organised, and most places are festivally decorated. There is no work or school and the royal family tours the kingdom with their heir.

To change Arburg and to make a positive impact. Her goal was never to be remembered or famous. Yet she still managed to achieve both of those. The biggest thing that she left behind was the renovation of the Grand Hall into an orphanage.

Social

She was very well-spoken, and was loved by everyone in the kingdom. She often gave speeches to promote change. She is the only Royal to date that was welcomed and invited to visit Atra.
