Arbrus

Once, the Arbrus Empire was the foundation that held together a fractured land. Countless societies dotted each landmass, ever at odds with each other, separated by a temperamental ocean that only sometimes sunk warships. Wild magic sprung up unfettered without warning; savage mages took down countless innocents and brought cities to their knees; the feral druids of the north drifted ever closer to all out war.   The Empire contained the magic, squashed the mages, and brought the druids under their heel. They also linked the major cities, established good relations with their neighboring kingdoms, and set up an era of prosperity for those not labelled an enemy of the queen.   Shame it's come to end.   A devastating two-pronged attack from the dragons, orcs, and druids combined has left the country reeling. Our adventurers will have to see what's left when the dust settles.
