Araval

In the land of Araval lies a shadowy strip of islands called the Graecian Archipelago. Untouched for millennia, the islands hold vast natural resources, as well as strategic military positions, to those who can claim them. Thus, the three great empires of Araval - The Holy Godrian Empire, The Rhepsgard Republic, and The Eternal Host - send their armies and navies to vie for control. Caught amidst their struggle for power are the humble merfolk, an ancient and storied race who have long since lost all memory of their cryptic past. As the merfolk houses squabble over the best course for their people, war rages above their ocean home, threatening to destroy everything they have left... and awaken long dormant evils.
