The Fifth Age of Arasil began when an alliance of men from the West ventured through the Black Salt and into the Ashes of Volaria itself where they recovered the Lumendayos, the Lantern of the Gods. Returning to their lands with the holy relic, they established the Chantry and took their first steps out of the darkness that consumed the world upon the destruction of the Great Volarian Empire – the world’s greatest loss since the death of the goddess Naeros, Archon of Hope.   Today, with Erevek the IV’s proclamation of Unification, the great kingdom of Novaar has set itself upon a course to reunite all the Lordaan people under the banners of the Scarlet Throne in Tol Vandor. Meanwhile, there are murmurs from the Vettral clans north across the Great Ardian Sea that Olvai Gravefire has returned from the dead. A hero.
