The Black Kentarch

Whenever mercenaries are mentioned, anyone in the know thinks about The Black Kentarch. Acting as the most elite paramilitar faction of Araneath, it riles up fear in the hearts of warring noblemen. If they're able to afford them, they can trust these soldiers to conquer their foes.

Structure

The Black Kentarch is known for having only 100 hundred members; 4 Centurions who each commands 24 legionaires. Rumours of an actual Master have circulated for centuries, but the truth has never been made public. Within the legionaires, there are ranks, including Vanguards, Snipers, Field Medics, Artificers and Dragon Knights. Each of these members is known to be able to fight as many. The might of this army is multiplied when they get the chance to fight together.

History

During the "Wolvenfield Campaign", King Danoth employed for the first time the Black Kentarch. Where they came from is not known, but their brutal conquest of Wolvenfield left a bloody mark in history.
