Of months and days

In Araneath, after the fall of Shud, the iskolean calendar became the main way to keep track of the current date.   The year has ten months (One after each god), and each month in turn has 3 weeks of 12 days, 36 days per month, except the last which has 37.   Spring and autumn are both considered to last 1 month each, whereas winter and summer last 4.   Every year goes as follows:   • 1st Rhiannos (Month of Rhia) Season of Spring, month of Revival   • 2nd Garthonnos (Month of Garthog) Birth of summer, month of Harvest   • 3rd Argalonnos (Month of Argaloth) Heart of summer, month of Regrowth   • 4th Sarinnos (Month of Sarina) Soul of summer, month of Love   • 5th Tlacannos (Month of Tlacatl) Death of summer, month of Tradition   • 6th Nisonnos (Month of Nisolda) Season of autumn, month of Change   • 7th Iskannos (Month of Iskael) Birth of winter, month of Expression   • 8th Assannos (Month of Assain) Heart of winter, month of Introspection   • 9th Urgonnos (Month of Urgoth) Soul of winter, month of Remembrance   • 10th Abelonnos (Month of Abelur) Death of winter, month of Learning   Every week has 12 days, which are called by their number in the common tongue. Other languages sometimes have proper names for such days.   To set a proper date, one has to say the number of the day, then the week then the month.   IE: "First day of first week of Nisonnos is when spring begins."   The last day of the year is known as "Cursed Eve", which is set in a one-day week all on it's own.
