Eras

When refering to the eras of Araneath most trust the Iskolean system, as they are the ones that have traditionally cared the most about preserving history. Individual cultures might have their own subdivisions, but these are rarely referenced in the great scheme of things. Sometimes, years are referenced in a "global scale" which spans from 0 SE to today.
This eras are, in chronological order:

The Primordial Era, understood as the time up to the foundation of Shud.

The Shuddean Era (0 SE to 1285 SE), understood as the period since the foundation of Shud up to the destruction of the city during Umbragol's Uprising.

The Age of Heroes (0 AH to 2213 AH), understood as the period between the fall of Shud and one of the greatest political crisis of Araneath.

(1286 to 3498 in Global Scale)

The Age of Tyrants (0 AT to 866 AT), understood as the period between the Century of Blood and the murder of King Rondal the Wise, or alternatively, Umbragol's second defeat. (3499 to 4364 in Global Scale)
