Culture and cultural heritage
Many people paint their faces. The paint is technically war paint, but it can be worn at all times, not just in battle. It is more symbolic of the individual being ready for battle, being ready to fight and defend themself.
Skull-topped staves. Axes and circular shields.
War horns made from animal horns.
Shared customary codes and values
Common occupations: Scouts, Lumberjacks/Woodcarvers, Warriors, Tanners, Sheep Husbandry
Common Dress code
Thick, fur cloaks or fur-lined cloaks.
Mainly light and medium armor of hides and leather. Leather bracers. Horned helmets. Heavy armor/plate armor usually only ornamental or for the most important people.
Long sleeved clothing. Long dresses. Boots. Square-cut necklines.
Bronze jewelry. Simple hair circlets.
Thick stitching patterns.
Braids, especially very close to the sides of the head. Or shaved sides of the head.
Circular buckle attachments for mantles/cloaks/etc.
Art & Architecture
Boats and ships have sharply curving upward ends and square, striped sails.
Multi-tiered roofs with peak caps of different designs. Tall, sharply arched roofs.
Chaotic-knotted patterns with animal themes. Patterns usually asymmetrical with knots not always closing cleanly.
Patterns done in repeated block colors (red and blue, green and yellow).
Common Customs, traditions and rituals
On the autumn equinox, whether in full chorus or solo, people sing a traditional song for their ancestors. There is also a ritual involved honoring the family line.
Funerary and Memorial customs
Setting a body in a boat and floating it away.

Beauty Ideals
Long hair. Beards are signs of being accompanied by spirits to help guide you through life.
