Geographic Origin and Distribution

While the Gilded Carp is endemic to the volcanic freshwater areas around Niniad, these fish can also be found in the Aurora Spring, much farther north.

Body Tint, Colouring and Marking

Its scales are golden and glittering and were once believed to actually have been made of gold. This glittering acts as a lure for prey, but it can also attract larger, predatory fish.
