Vhodan Blackwood

A human mage who is famed for fathering the two heroes of old. He has spent much of his life mastering the dark arts of necromancy and greater arcane quandaries as well. After the death of his wife he sought more power still and this led him to a dark place. He sought out the prince of undeath Orcus. Orcus bestowed upon him the secrets of lichdom. Once he had the knowledge the rest was simple. He had a whole town just a mile or two from his manor. The disappearances were unsolvable. Once he became a lich he called upon Orcus again; however, this time he did so with the intent to kill the fiend. He did so with a steely resolve of a man with nothing more to lose.
