Tabaxi

Tabaxi, a feline-like species are quick and agile, capable of easily scaling and traversing the jungle environment they live within. With keen vision and pack mentality, the Tabaxi often hunt and fight in small teams, overwhelming powerful foes with relative ease.
Enjoying the company of others, Tabaxi tend to gather in large settlements with close family bonds, rarely travelling far from civilisation where socialising is more difficult. A predominantly Matriarchal society, the Tabaxi answer to a powerful female figure within their clan, often a Queen or Empress depending on the clan. The different breeds of Tabaxi all have their own capital within the jungles, however it is not uncommon to see the types of Tabaxi intermingling and crossbreeding when not in war-time with one another.
Quick to agitate and lash out, war is common amongst the cat people, but almost as quickly as conflict begins, it can also end at a whim. A race that doesn't hold grudges but is highly influenced by their inconsistent emotions.
Due to keen eyes, a natural ability to move silenty and a agile form, Tabaxi make excellent scouts, assassins and archers.
