Los Escalones

The small uninhabited islands that connect the larger ones are refered to as Los Escalones or The Stepping Stones. During the Summer months there is a Multi StageTriathalon that requires Athletes to make their way from Island to Island.

Geography

The Islands vary from bare rock outcrops to heavily forested and boggy. A few are owned by private land holders but otherwise uninhabitable by more than a few people at once. Too small to be of any major significance they are mostly ignored by the residents of the Archipelago
