Night of the Darkening Moon

The Cult of the Dark Goddess celebrates a holiday known as the Night of the Darkening Moon. This holiday falls on the night of the darkest moon of the year, and it is a time for the Cult to come together and honor the Dark Goddess.   During the Night of the Darkening Moon, the Cult members gather in their hidden temple to perform rituals and offerings to the Dark Goddess. They wear dark clothing and paint their faces with green and black paint to symbolize the power of the Dark Goddess.   The rituals typically involve praying to the Dark Goddess, offering her one's deepest desires, and to celebrate her power and presence in their live, as well as offering sacrifices of large amounts of mana. The Cult members also participate in bonding activities; primarily games, competitive duels, and bouts of skill.   After the rituals and offerings are completed, the Cult members celebrate with a feast and drinks, toasting to the Dark Goddess and her power. It is a night of joy and camaraderie for the Cult members, and they often spend the entire night in celebration. It is a time of rituals and bonding, of feasting and revelry, and a time to reaffirm their devotion to the Dark Goddess and her will.
