The Desolation
Home to nothing but ice and those exiled from society, the desolation was meant to be a death sentence. Tucked in the northwest corner of Apocrypha, the land is fraught with danger. Born from adversity, the exiled formed a settlement to stave off the cold death. Ixbaezia is a lawless, yet somehow peaceful land for those who are marked for death.
Fauna & Flora
The land consists of very few fauna beyond the trees and a few uncommon herbs that grow below the frost. Even then, these plants are few are far between. Most existing trees are young due to the catastrophic winds felling any who dare grow to a towering size. The lands are flush with small burrows that house furry rodents and other small mammals. The occasional bird of prey can be found overhead waiting for any fresh meat to appear from their hideouts. Closer to the oceans edge, one might find larger beasts that prey on the fish in the coast. Any who travel in the Desolation must be wary of the reason the desert exists. Rumor has it that a demon lurks around the icy lands beating its giant wings freezing and killing all things around it.
