Layering

Layer upon layer of magic, the mixing of the Seven Pillars of Quintessence Manipulation can take the smallest cinders and turn it into a raging fire. It is most commonly done among the first four pillars; chanting, signing, imbuing, and engraving. Advanced magus can work in the fifth and sixth pillar. The outlier being the seventh pillar, channeling is not compatible with the other pillars due to it's unique relationship with the giftless.

Effect

Layering is used to bolster the effect of a spell by mixing and crossing the different Pillars of Quintessence manipulation.

Side/Secondary Effects

Layering is a very delicate process and even the smallest mistake can cause the multitude of spells to backfire. Failed layering can produce similar effects to foul magic.
