Aphadore

Aphadore is a world of mystery and industry. The major events of the world revolve around the city of Pandora, also called the Tamed City. After the violent failure of the revolution of Pandora, the city is a place of contradictions. The ancient opulence of the city in its prime coexists with the poverty of the present. The power of the coalition government lines the pockets of a select few individuals while the other inhabitants of the city struggle to rebuild all these years later. Pandora, also called The Tamed City, is rife with crime and cutthroat politics. As it once was the leading city of the world, people of all races and backgrounds came to live there in its prime. It is a place of magic and science, of rich and poor, of evil and good. It is a place of old history and ideas. The main points of the setting are that one can find magic and technology in equal measure in The Tamed City. Characters must navigate the seedy underworld of crime and also the opulent world of the wealthy, two worlds that seem completely opposed to one another and yet so often go hand in hand. In the Tamed City, characters will explore a world of lost splendor and forgotten hope.
