Dozens of families are at each others throats to inherit the souls of their ancesters, amidst all this chaos, one perticular conflict threatens to throw the entire country into civil war.

The sons Vorsell Vhan, taking advantage of the chaos in Ollusia, each plan to invoke their alliances with the other great families to fight to inherit their fathers soul. Although the court is already very busy with the other conflicts, this one quickly becomes a matter of the upmost importance. Osewal Kaer would soon propose an idea to prevent this war: The court would decree that the soul of Vorsell Vhan would not be allowed to be processed and granted to anyone "unworthy" of inheriting it. The criteria are of course defined by the religious customs of the empire. This would force lords to act honorably until the court takes care of all the other conflicts before taking care of this matter completely. As time went on, and conflitcs were resolving themselves, the court would soon have to decide on wich lord would become the heir of the Vorsell fortune. Hok Go'rek, the court chaplain, was adament in his thought that, none of the sons of Vorsell Vhan were free from sin, thus meaning that non of them are worthy. However, the other members of the court wanted one of them to win, as they had married their sons to the Vorsell family, and it would be a great shame for them to see their children married to a family with no inheritance. Osewal Kaer once again, had a plan. He betrothed his son to 2 year old girl, and claimed it was one of Vorsell Vhans bastards, making her a potential inheritor of the family fortune. And, being a 2 year old child, she is considered by the church as free from sin, for what unforgivable sin could a baby commit? As the claim was contested by the Vorsell family, and the other members of the court, the Wells of Savin confirmed the link between this unknown child and the late lord Vhan through examination of their blood. Osewal Kaer thus became the most famous member of the court and on him were set the eyes of admiration, but also of envy and jealousy...
