The fire curse

"I, Skaro, of the house of fire, decree that fire shalt nary be in the Ashlands."
The fire curse has only been discovered a few years ago, when inquisitors visiting the southern-most villages of the empire found the entire population dead, frozen to death. It was later realised that the reason for this is because fire was impossible to create in these regions. A prospect worrying enough as it is, for worshippers of dragons and flame. But what scared the saurian nobility so much is that their mages theorized, rightly, that the curse was moving towards the north of Askavar, where most great Saurian cities, and, the rest of the civilized world is.

Manifestation

The fire curse, is unseen unfelt, unheard, but it's effects are more than consequential.

Localization

The southern-most villages were the first to suffer from this curse, and it has kept slowly advancing north, towards the bigger cities of the Saurian empire.
