Aswalkt

Aswalkt is one of the most prominent figures in Saurian mythology and history. He is a gargantuan dragon who appeared during the fall of man and the birth of the Saurian civilization. He laid waist to the suthern human kingdoms of Ulvaria, and scorched the land of Askavar forever, by covering the land in fire.
He was defeated soon after, by the seven other dragon lords, and perhaps a few human mages helping them. After an excrutiating battle, the lords were victorious and Aswalkt was on the run. He tried to retreat to the abyss, at the edge of the world. It is said that Siris, the fith dragon lord, leader of the battalion responsible for his retreat, chased Aswalkt to the end of the world, and lept into the depths with him, to lay the final blow upon the dying titan.
Wether Siris put the beast to rest and managed to escape the darkness, or died trying is still a mystery. But ever since, the inhabitants of the south have been living in fear that the creature may be still alive in the depths of the world, waiting for the perfect moment to strike at the living world, with the strength of the abyss at his side...
The official church in Ollusia states that, as one may ascend and become a dragon lord by gazing upon the magnificence of the gods, the opposite effect happens when it comes to Aswalkt, as he is the antithesis to the gods. Even such actions as pronouncing his name, or thinking about his is said to tears ones soul apart, bit by bit, until but a husk is left.

Physical Description

Body Features

It is said to have a giant beak, like that of a pelican. The entire being is also rumored to be covered in furr or plumage.

Facial Features

Texts describe Aswalkt as having a great beak, and eyes tainted with fire and hatred.

Mental characteristics

Personal history

Only the saurians know about this figure, but no saurian priest or hisorian quite knows where it first came from. It is indeed a subject of much debate amongst clercs and historians. A known fact is that Aswalkt drenched Askavar in fire, destroying all life that it came in contact with, and creating the Ashlands

Failures & Embarrassments

Before the beast could advance to any other major cities, seven of the dragon lords assembled to slay this titanic monstrosity, led by the determined Siris, child of the sun and defendor of light. After an excrutiating battle, Aswalkt was vanquished and retreated to the end of the world and lept from the edge into the abyss, never to be seen again.

Mental Trauma

Aswalkt is undoubtedly a creature filled with hatred and torment, for it to wish such harm on all life, but no evidence has been found as what happened to him before he became this way.
