Poru, God of Poverty

Poru, God of Poverty, is one of the Lesser Gods who rose from the steps of Preel. His domain is all that has to do with poverty, be it housing problems, hunger problems or debt. If a problem comes from the lack of money, it's usually Poru's powers playing a trick on you. He enjoys the suffering and mental stress that comes with poverty, and it gives him strength to further put poverty upon more people.
Followers of Poru are often very wealthy themselves, be it either loan sharks, or exploiters. They pray to Poru so that other people can live in poverty so they themselves can gain further revenue. Poru is the Lesser God of Evil that has been most controversy if should be illegal or not, as many powerful individuals want the ban lifted, but as it stands now, worship is still outlawed.
