The Rothan Empire

The banner of a sword piercing the silver moon flew high over the battlefield on the Silver Plains of Glory. Soldiers, weak and tired from the battle with the dragonborn turned their heads as a figure strode through their ranks.

Their king had joined them.

Ulric Lothar II raised his blade into the air as the entire army cheered their king... as the din quieted, he spoke.

We will always and forever be a nation built against he evils of this world, one destined to gather all who are peaceful and one destined to prosper beyond the hopes of and dreams of just one generation!""
He raised his sword again.

You awaken on a large grassy plains with rolling hills. A shining city that glows with metallic glory sits in the distance at the top of a particularly flat rise. Farmlands dot the area surrounding the massive city. To the east is a large mountain range with a narrow pass guarded by a keep. The north fades into a snowy, mountainous land and the south is blocked off by a massive wall of trees.

History

500 AGW - Dagon Lothar, first of his name, conquered the Great Plains from the scattered tribes of dragonmen and founded the Silver Empire
1050 AGW - The Third Great Dragonborn war nearly broke the Silver Empire, but they were driven back by the aid of great heroes of the realm.

Demography and Population

A large portion of The Rothan Empire is made up of humans, but there is also a sizable demograph of gnomes from Sirbib's Spire, Dwarves that have moved down from Tsa'Clavok, and halfling farmers.
Elves are known to make their homes in the Shifting Woods, and while they would never claim to be part of the Silver Empire, they occasional exit the woods long enough to trade, negotiate terms, and supply the Empire with news of the Craglands.

Lothar's Reach
Lothar's reach is a Penninsula that extends from the Kingdom of Rothan and is the narrowest point between the continent of Cenarum and Altaran across the Narrow Gap. It houses the following: Steelcairn: A keep leading towards the Silver City (Allaran). It guards the pass through the mountains and protects the lands from invaders or makes sure goods heading towards the port are legal. Greenharbor: a small port town that is well stocked and it the connection point between Altaran and Cenarum. It is often busy with various races and factions seeking the exotic goods from across the sea. Windrip: A Shrine village to a fallen paladin hero. It is a simple place with few buildings but a large shrine. Pilgrimages are often made to pay respects to fallen hero and his family. It houses no specific god as its main source of worship. Osha: Another small hamlet tucked away in the mountains.
