The Ichoni (eye-koni)
Mythology & Lore
The Ichoni are any Anruien creatures, citizens, or leaders that have contributed to society in such significant ways that they are recognized on a national and regional level and given the post-mortem honor of ascending to a status of minor deification. Though the term ‘god’ is used, it is a loose styling and is more similar to the idea of a ‘saint.’ Though the Ichoni are recognized and worshiped in a minimal way, they are not as powerful as the major deities. Their positions are mostly memorials and testaments to their lives and the meaningfulness of their stories.
