Untamed Woods

The Untamed Woods are a temperate forest in West Andaria surrounding the Sharp Bluffs mountain range. It is the last somewhat undisturbed resort of the wildlife with an untouched area of over 200 thousand square miles; the surrounding areas are populated with human settlements and agriculture. The forest is mostly left alone, as for one it is claimed by the western county of the Gnome Confraternity under the rule of the city of Irux Valor, as well as weird stories and incidents occur frequently. Imprudent trespasser vanish or get lost, only managing to escape the forest after days of going astray. The few folks, who feel the need to intrude into the forest be it to hunt or to gather firewood, learned to do so with caution and respect.
