Shiv-Shar

Shiv-Shar, also known as the Ruler of Vermins, sometimes mentioned as the Clicking Serpent, is a huge neutral evil intermediate primordial deity. It is told that it roamed the forests and jungles of Langraan as long as they exist, but has been venered by the primordials as a greater deity before the gods arrived.
Shunning confrontation it prefers lingering deep into the forests of the world, mostly avoiding gods and humanoids. With the expansions of humanoids all over Andaria though, it sooner or later came in contact with them; mostly with tribes and folk living from and with nature. Some of which started to venerate Shiv-Shar as a higher entity and prayed for protection from the perilious surroundings they were living in and for mercy from Shiv-Shar itself. Apparently it seemed to enjoy this and granted both for continuous worship and offerings. Shiv-Shars followers quickly grew in all rough and rural landscapes, but especially in jungle regions, resulting in it growing even more powerful, gaining demigod status. Shiv-Shars portfolio includes hunting, poison, snakes and vermins. Its domains are Beasts, Nature, Poison, Protection and Wilderness.

Depiction

Shiv-Shar resembles a huge green cobra merging into a dozen large red scorpion-like legs and a black poisonous stinger.

Holy Day

Shiv-Shars Holy Days are the 1st day of each month. The most zealous follower of Shiv-Shar worhsip it on each 1st, 11th and 21st.
