Neverthaw

This special blue ice doesn't melt under normal conditions. Even under extraordinary conditons it doesn't melt. Only a super hot environment like the elemntal plane of fire, or the surface of the sun, the inside of a volcano, places like these offer sufficient heat to destroy Neverthaw. Neverthaw of different colors exist, the most common being blue or green, rarer are red or purple. Sages speculate different colored Neverthaw probably has different properties. But so far no one could prove it.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

Weapons crafted from it always deal 1 additional point of cold damage. If the weapon get's enchanted with frost damage, this damage die gets upgraded by 1, meaning 1d2 becomes 1d3 etc.
Armor crafted from it always gives at least DR 5 cold.
