Igraram

The Igraram family is not unknown to many in the upper nobility of East Andaria, as they have ruled the city of Fluxov for close to astonishing two millenia. Apart from being the master of Fluxov, they are known for researching the arcane arts, having produced many talented wizard. A certain specialty that the Igraram family perfected over the centuries was the research and creation of protective magic, that brought and protected the position they until now hold; they are extremly protective of their magic and share it with no one.
The figure, who is seen as the founding father of the Igaram dynasty was Sermanis Flux Igaram, after which actually the river Flux was named after he resolved an escalating conflict with the gnome city of Wixsort. A few years later he became mayor of the city Voral, that later became Fluxov and ruled over it for supposedly close to 170 years. His popularity was so high that one of his daughter was elected as his successor and the family of Igaram provided a surpassing number of following mayors over the next millenia.
A more peculiar and less known trait of the Igaram family is the collecting of weird magical items. Apparently buying and hoarding objects that are not necessarily especially powerful, but more of the intriguing and absurd form...
