Asret Pratchett

Asret Pratchett Grand Duke of Oppond and ruler over the city of Brartis was part of the ruling nobility of Oppond in the 26th and 27th centuries of the Second Age. His name is well known around the Northern Alliance, especially in Rovarnon, for his death in the year 2649 HM in an unfortunate hunting accident is seen by many sages as the beginning of the decline of the eastern human kingdoms. During his life the kingdoms of Oppond and Rovarnon grew to new political and military heights, laying aside their territorial disputes and alliances between the two kingdoms were forged. As right hand of the former king Asret Pratchett took part in forming and teaching his son Joak Inesis Pond into an adequate king. Otherwise he is often remembered for his systematic building of defensive outposts and fortresses to defend the kingdom against the elves of Taassündi and the Aer O-Erken.
