Alpha

As long the oldest creatures and gods can remember, there always has been an entity lurking in the background of Langraan. Shrouded in white mist and white linen, a white humanoid figur radiating faint light, its face never quite observable; the only recollection it leaves behind is the color white itself and the first letter of the Primordial alphabet, that is imbedded many times on the cloths it wears: alpha. In the primordial language its meaning corresponds with beginning, but also transition and cycle of life.
Alpha has been encountered six times since the creation of Langraan and the conversations it had, have been noted word for word in the six anecdotes of Alpha. Apart from what little information these anecdotes might tell, little else is known about the entity called Alpha. It seems that it harvests the soul of the fallen, that have nowhere to go: oathbreakers, castoffs and atheists. What it does with these souls, for what purpose or even where the souls go, remains a mistery. There are few, who intrigued by the anecdotes choose to live by the interpretations what might be its ideal and form somewhat of a clergy. Its portfolio includes death, souls and transition. Its domains are Change, Death, Fate, Grave, Repose and Time.

Depiction

Alpha is depicted as a humanoid figure fully enveloped by white veils concealing his appearance. Its symbol is the first letter of the Primordial alphabet alpha.

Holy Day

The followers of Alpha celebrate the 3rd of March as the Holy Day of Alpha. The reason for this is his tendency to always answer in three sentences.
