Anyon (an-YON) is celebrated on the winter solstice - the darkest night of the year.
It is celebrated by letting things go, whether that means burning garbage or donating old items. It is common for followers of Anian to clean their house in preparation of this day. Other things to be "let go" include the souls of the recently deceased, the pain of a failed relationship, and failed expectations. Even emotions are not saved from the ravages of time.

General Physical Condition
Like the rest of the Six, Anian is around thirty feet high at the shoulder and covered in large, matte scales that change color at will. They have a medium-sized snout that ends in closed nostrils.

Identifying Characteristics
If one looks extremely closely, they might notice some scarring on the souls of Anian's feet. This was the result of Anian's visit to an active volcano, and it shows that the dragon gods can be at least superficially injured (if not killed).

They almost always display imposing if not directly threatening body language. They move slowly and surely.

Anian was created as part of the Six when the god Aen split into different parts. Anian is most often seen the night after a great tragedy - as a result, seeing them is considered an ill omen in all parts of Ancora.

If the dragon gods had a sexuality, they would have sex. This would be an unwelcome distraction, incest, and possibly cause a population dilemma.

Anian, along with Lassan, helps keep the balance between growth and entropy. They are often hated for their role in this, but it is necessary.

Mental Trauma
The things Anian has seen (and possibly caused) have caused them to become apathetic to the effect death and entropy have on mortals. The blame these mortals place on them and the hatred they often received has caused them to withdraw from most social contact. .
Anian often remains isolated from mortals and the Six alike and is seen as dark and mysterious. The truth is, they are sometimes just lonely.
Intellectual Characteristics
They play the long game - the very long game. Individual mortals sometimes don't even register as being sentient beings. As a result, Anian generally seems distant and uncaring, but wise.
