Personal history
Nicknamed "The Owl" during his teenage for staying often up all night studying, writing poems, writing music and drinking and then sleeping for the entire morning.
When he was crowned the name stuck, but now work, fears and anxiety filled his nights. During the first years he asked two times her mother to allow him to abdicate in favor of his younger brother, but she always insisted on the brother weakness as a monarch.
After some years the Owl seemed to be a worthy king: the taxes were regularly collected, a new treaty was signed with the Peshez Coordinate, diplomatic ties with the All'U were better restored and plans for a grand navy were evaluated.
When the "Eastern Troubles" broke out and Odria was compelled to restore order in the eastern princedoms, Hadalard was forced to lead an army in Andonia.
The campaign was a disaster, and he was humiliated in the field multiple times.
When a weak peace was finally signed Hadalard finally returned to Ghaulle. Something he had gained other than shame in Andonia was a friend: Oddo Suttòns.
Oddo quickly became his most trusted adviser and his only personal friend, the only person whose company kept melancholy at bay.
But Oddo after some years had become a greater presence in the capital than all the other advisers combined and Hadalard started fearing to be used again and fell in depression once more.
In november 886 he was kidnapped while coming back from a visit to the Southern Marches
