Circlet of Asami

The main body of the circlet was made of emerald in the shape of two intertwined rose stems. The stems were thorned, cord made of cloth of gold wrapped around the emerald stems to cushion the weight on the head and to protect the head from the thorns.
Coming out over the ears over the temples were four leaves cupping partially blossomed rosebuds made of ruby. The hairpiece contained three loops, one at either side of the head and one at the back for the hair to be split into twin tails and a ponytail.
The cord wrapped around the hairpiece ended beneath the leaves and split into two cords, one passing over the bridge of the nose and one reaching down below the chin, between these two cords was a sheer sheet of silk used as a veil.
The silk used was dyed a soft pink color.
