Based on the Frostgrave world created by Joseph A. McCullough, this is my interpretation of that world, based on the games we play within the setting.   This is a world of adventure and magic. The characters you will see are from the games we play, where Wizards explore the frozen city of Frostgrave, in pursuit of Arcane knowledge and forbidden lore, and Heritors, descendants of early explorers who drank from a mystical pool in the Ghost Archipelago, embark on a great quest to find the fabled pool, to enhance, and replenish the powers, gifted to them through blood.   The Frozen city of Frostgrave is an ancient ruin, far to the north, destroyed centuries ago, by a forgotten event. It is an unmpappable location, the magic that still resides within it's crumbing buildings and snow covered streets, forever shifting the layout of the city, and even hiding entire districts in a different plane or time. While it is a ruin, it is by no means abandoned. Those who lived there still walk the streets as wraiths and ghosts, or zombies and skeletons. But it is not only the dead who call the frozen city home. Gnolls, wild animals, and even mechanical constructs can be found in the dead city's ruins. Those who come to Frostgrave, come in search of the lost treasures, buried beneath the snow and dust of ages. The temptation of lost lore and magic also brings in Wizards from the magic schools, hiring war bands of mercenaries to protect them from the dangers that wait behind every street corner.   in contrast to the frozen city, the Ghost Archipelago, further south, is a vast collection of islands, covered in steaming jungles, and surrounded by warm waters and coral reefs. Like Frostgrave, however, the entire Ghost Archipelago is ever changing, making it near impossible to navigate, without the aid of those magically attuned, such as wardens, to the shifting patterns of the islands. Those who cannot find a warden, have the risk of never finding the islands at all. The same course can very rarely be taken, when sailing to the Ghosts, and its entirely possible for the entire Archipelago to vanish. Most recently, the Archipelago vanished for two-hundred years, not long after the first explorers stumbled upon the crystal pool, and drank from it's waters, filling them with super-human powers. now, it has returned once more, and the descendant heritors brave the giant Saurians, cannibal tribesmen, bronze armored Dricheans, and poisonous snakes, in search of their ancestors discovery.   I own no rights to the names Frostgrave, or Ghost Archipelago, nor are they, or the lore presented in the frostgrave books, my own creation. Also, I do not own any rights, to the concept of Heritors, Wardens, or Wizards, within this world. What i have created for Amkgrav, is filler, for the blank world outside, and within the frozen city of Frostgrave, and the Island chains of the Ghost Archipelago.
