Mudluk, Mercenary Leader
One half of the founding members of "Mudluk and Riglik's Goblin 'Venture Co." and, debatably, its nominal leader.
Mudluk, along with five other goblins, was initially hired by the Changeling Akadri to serve as hirelings and goods carriers for an expedition into the Davokar. At least provisionally believing in the concept of fair pay for fair work, Akadri promised to reward the goblins with a share of the treasure for their efforts. In the end only two of the faithful goblins survived the endeavour, having proved that they were capable of much more than simply hauling goods.
With Akadri fallen in battle, the remaining members of the expedition decided to reward Mudluk and Riglik with the treasure promised to all of the goblins who set out - a veritable fortune by goblin standards - and advised that they should do more than simply spend it or gamble it away piecemeal.
The pair evidently took the advice to heart and went on to use their treasure to found a mercenary company of goblins, extolling the virtue of fair pay for fair work. Being able to legitimately claim that they were part of the successful expedition to Symbar opened doors to employment that would otherwise have been beyond the reach of an average goblin. This, coupled with the lesson that accepting "pay per goblin" was significantly more profitable if you ended a job with fewer goblins that you started with, saw the sellswords turn a reasonable profit, though their most recent job defending the doomed city of Kastor may have cost more goblins than anticipated.
Mudluk balances goblin low cunning with equal parts survival instincts and aggression, a combination that is only successful thanks to his willingness bite, punch, stab and gouge whatever is required to stay on top.
