Kathia Melion, Blight-marked Pariah

Kathia was barely twenty years old when she, as General Beremo Herengol’s adjutant, experienced the side-effects of the starfall first hand. The wave of corruption knocked her unconscious, and when she woke up she was deformed in body and soul. Many other nobles suffered the same fate, or worse; the blight born were killed on the spot or fled toward unknown destinations in the black east; many of those who developed stigmas perished, in episodes of severe angst or suicide. But not Kathia, who refused to give in.
