Illeva, Commander of the Kastor Town Watch -DECEASED-
The town’s commander was a taciturn veteran, hardened by many battles against monsters and barbarians. She was the firm-handed leader of Kastor’s Town Watch, although she prefered resolving problems herself. She was often seen where order was disrupted and crimes were being investigated and became aware of Mayven due to his petty crimes within the city.
Following the deaths of two mayors during the Terato's Dawn conspiracy, Illeva reluctantly accepted the mantle of acting Mayor of Kastor, a role she despised but was unable to find a suitable replacement.
Illeva commanded the defence of Kastor when the horde of Erok'Hekett laid siege to the city, inspired the unprepared city guard and watch to feats of heroism, employed goblin mercenaries to bolster the forces and convinced clan-folk of both Karohar and Vajvod to fight by their side. She refused to abandon the walls even once it became clear that the "Eternal Hunter" would breach the gates, so that more time could be given to the fleeing citizens to escape. Eventually forced into a fighting retreat once the north gate fell, she then made her way up the bell tower of Kastor and used the ancient artefact to both give strength to the survivors for the final retreat from the city, and to rob Erok'Hekett of some of its power.
The commander fell when the bell of Kastor was finally overwhelmed by the weight of corruption it had absorbed and exploded, destroying the top of the tower and her along with it.
