Dagesto, Treasure Hunter -DECEASED-

Up until the battle against the Jezites in year 10, Dagesto was employed by the Ambrian army to construct and operate siege machines. During the attack on Haloban's fortress, everything seemed to go wrong - his catapults missed their targets, the breaching pots would not explode, and the fog from his smoke bombs dissipated within seconds.
Dagesto faced demotion following a "disagreement" with an officer but instead resigned from the army and his since made his living as a fortune hunter in the Davokar, with some success. Dagesto's history with the army means that he has no love for the Queen's military and its agents.
Dagesto was responsible for the death of Brother Bartho following what he perceived as an act of misdirection that resulted in the deaths of some of his party, but was eventually driven off by Captain Marvello and the wizard Loreanda. Dagesto later joined the company of Iasogoi Brigo during the expedition and exploration of Symbar, leading his scounts and sappers all the way to hall of the legendary throne. He was known to have retreated from the ruin with the survivors of the company.
Dagesto died during the defence of Yndaros, when he lead a force of sappers into the battle on Korinthia's Triumph Bridge. Caught in the grip of an abominable giant and grievously wounded, Dagesto used the stub of his cheroot to ignite his bandolier of alchmical bombs, killing both himself and the giant.
