Artel Vereo, Former Ordo Magica Master

Artel Vereo, the former apprentice of Kullinan Furia and master pyromancer, was as afflicted by the fallout of his Starfall ceremony as many of the other unfortunates in the Queen's army. Granted a stay of execution, but paralyzed from the neck down, Artel lives but his life is devoid of much of what gives life meaning. He stands strapped to a straight-backed cart and over time has grown so obese that the straps are now barely visible.
The stench of brimstone and corruption that rises from his ruined body is enough to make the eyes sting.
His only companions are his faithful goblin servant Uddgol, his disenchanted troll apprentice Aldrax and his enormous pet salamander Smoldra.
