Amarynth

Amarynth is a large island region on the Northwestern coast of Remoria that has remained largely isolated from the mainland both culturally and politically for most of it's existence. It is home to a wide variety of peoples, who take up residence in it's forests, plains, and mountains.   The centerpiece of the realm are the Starlight Mountains, a large mountain range in the center of the island, which get their name from the unique snowfall; covering their peaks that, under the light of a full moon, glisten in a way that resembles stellar constellations- an effect visible from all across Amarynth. Legend speaks of the strange untapped magical energies that reside within that are said to provide life to the entire island.   Surrounding this range is a large forest, divided into two regions with one on either side of the mountains- the [Constellation 1] and [Constellation 2] Forests, named after two constellations in the night sky. Beyond that, flat and hilly plains alike separate these forests from the many coastal cities on the island, as well as from the Bagwood- a forest along the Southeastern coast named for it's near constant mercantile travel.   Leaving the shores of the main landmass, we have Mystvale Island to the West- a small islet shrouded in perpetual fog, covered by the trees of the extremely dense Mystvale Thicket. To the East, we have the mainland of Remoria- one of the larger continents on [World Name].
