Amarian Empire

Long ago, at the beginning of the Space Age, a scout ship stumbled across a peculiar map which pointed out the way to all the inhabitable worlds in the Galaxy, now known as the "Old One Hundred Worlds." There have been many terraformed worlds ever since then, but none of them compare to the wondrous havens of unique terrain, flora and fauna found on these rich worlds sprinkled throughout the galaxy.   Two competing empires vied for control over the lion's share of the worlds, the Amarian Empire and the Outer Race, which were descended from Western and Eastern Civilizations, respectively.   Star travel is cumbersome, and it takes months to accelerate up to lightspeed using a rare material called Diamocan, the rarest, most valuable substance in the Universe, a byproduct formed by the very imagination of light at the beginning of creation.   One man, named General Gallior "Gall" Starsenic, is on a quest to build an army capable of faster than light travel. To do that, he must travel to the Galactic Core, the only place in the galaxy where Diamocan can be found en masse. But his purposes are questionable, and the Amarian Empire would have his mission thwarted...
