Lyronx

Lyronx is a type of fiber that is found on Amara within the soils. It can also be found in plants. When humans discovered Lyronx, they were amazed to find out the material was made with Lycra and Cotton fibers as well, even though the products weren't even on the planet as if Lyronx is the original compound for the two popular fibers.

Material Characteristics

Lyronx is very soft, and is wrapped by a thin protective layer that is unknown for the time being in Amara. The color of Lyronx is a light grey/ dark white color that grew on a small stem of plants.

Physical & Chemical Properties

Lyronx is delicate, and easily flammable. When someone were to touch the material, Lyronx falls apart is touched harshly. To pick this material to process it into Miro, you would need microfiber gloves and a mask in order to not let out a breath and make the Lyronx escape.

Lyronx is used to be woven into Miro, a stretchy yet soft altering material that is used for clothing and basic materials.

Geology & Geography

Although Miro is found everywhere, Lyronx is specifically found in grassy areas of Eudora, hidden away by other plants and flowers.

Lyronx is extremely delicate, and can easily be broken apart if not picked carefully.

History & Usage

Everyday use

Lyronx is used exactly like cotton, where it is spun and woven into Miro, a fabric used to make altering clothes and materials. Lyronx can also be woven into ropes, ties, and curtains.

Industrial Use

To maintain a promise of no factories to destroy the environment of Amara, small Eco-Friendly Factories are used to produce Miro and never waste products. Products that are either scraps or incorrectly made are broken down and reused while seeds that are salvaged are planted again to regrow Lyronx.

Environmental Impact

Lyronx is completely environmentally safe due to being a material directly from the soils of Amara.

Reusability & Recycling

If unused, wasted, or incorrect materials are present, employees are required to break it down and remake the materials, as part of Eudora's "No Material Wasted" Law. Anyone caught throwing away or littering materials are fined up to 1,000 dollars in environment damage, and is put into a 72 hour community service picking up any garbage.
