TW: Aranea, I am s9rry t9 69ther y9u 9ut 9f n9where. I just needed t9 talk t9 y9u a69ut s9me things and they are rather imp9rtant t9 me. I ap9l9gize f9r any inc9nvenience that this may cause y9u t9 6ut if y9u c9uld resp9nd quickly that w9uld 6e very appreciated.
AG: Oh? I must admit Kankri, I was not expecting you to reach out to me in such a fashion. Although I am 8y no means perfect I would like to think I have done my 8est to 8e mindful of your pro8lem topics.
AG: Unless this is a8out something else. In which case forgive me for making hasty assumptions, although the tone of your message is giving me a certain vi8e that is what you are here for.
TW: y9u w9uld 6e c9rrect in y9ur assumpti9ns h9wever I appreciate y9u ap9l9gizing. I am currently c9ncerned a69ut y9ur necklace. Y9u see the sufferer he is a pr96lematic figure. I have wanted t9 speak with y9u a69ut this f9r a while n9w 6ut um I just didn't want t9 69ther y9u. If y9u c9uld cease t9 wearing it that w9uld 6e very nice.
AG: My necklace? Surely you cannot 8e serious. While you have all the right in the world to disagree with The Signless and his various teachings, I have just as much right to dress as I please. And I fail to see how a small charm 8aring his sym8ol is so triggering to you as to prompt this exchange.
AG: I personally have found myself to agree with a gr8 many of the topics on which he preached. Alternia unfortun8ly ended up 8eing a rather flawed planet in a similar vein to our own, al8eit more centralized around violent ideals in contrast to the more peaceful nature of 8eforus. I struggle to see how you would find anything offensive in his teachings of hemoequality, although I suppose finding issues in otherwise non-pro8lematic su8jects is an area in which you are an expert.
TW: Well yes 9f c9urse y9u can dress the way y9u want. I am n9t trying t9 tell y9u that y9ur self expressi9n sh9uld 6e taken d9wn. I just- it pers9nally makes me unc9mf9rta6le. Of c9urse there is a l9t a69ut The Sufferer that was g99d. He did a l9t in helping with equality. There is als9 things that are pr96lematic a69ut him. I kn9w it may seem nit picky 6ut s9metimes y9u have t9 6e in 9rder t9 create a safe and c9mf9rta6le envir9nment. I just w9uld feel 6etter if y9u quit wearing it.
AG: Forgive me if I am 8eing terri8ly insensitive, 8ut I must admit I find it very difficult to take this sort of request seriously given your previous track record Kankri. In the past you have made a gr8 many requests directed towards others in the language that they use and the way they present themselves, and I personally have not found all of these asks to 8e entirely credi8le. So as you can imagine when I am 8eing told that the small 8roach which I have worn around my neck for a fair period of time now is making someone, specifically you uncomforta8le, it is fairly difficult for me to see that ask as an earnest one.
AG: I fail to see which of The Signless's sermons could 8e seen as him advocating for ideals which would 8e seen as pro8lematic anyways. And as far as I am aware he was never a pro8lematic figure outside of them either. In fact he seemed to 8e a rather affa8le fellow, especially within the context of the small group with which he traveled and gave his sermons. It is almost odd how different of a relationship our post scratch counterparts had with one another in that regard, although that is something of a topic for another time. The matter at hand is necklaces after all, not the intricacies of our interpersonal relationships.
TW: Aranea I am, I really d9 n9t wish t9 talk a69ut my reas9ning 6ecause it upsets me greatly. I kn9w it may seem like I am sp9uting n9things and may6e I am. H9wever I really need y9u t9 st9p wearing that necklace. F9r reas9ns past signless's pr96lematic nature. My reas9ns this time are n9t f9r nit picking they are m9re than that f9r me and I really just need y9u t9 st9p wearing it. Please.
AG: Ugh. Well, I still have trou8le 8elieving that such a 8enign charm is setting you off in any serious capacity. 8ut if it will make you happy then I suppose I will have to relent on the su8ject for now anyways. Perhaps I am foolish in simply taking your word at face value like this, given your past actions, 8ut I have a feeling that you may yet 8e truthful in this case.
AG: I suppose I'll have to search for some other type of trinket or 8au8le to wear. I feel as if donning the sym8ol of my own insignia over once more would 8e a tad excessive given my usual dress, so I am at something of a loss as to what I should choose. I am sure that it will come to me given some time spent in consideration, however. At least I hope so. ::::|
TW: Thank y9u I realize that it may n9t seem the m9st seri9us 9f things 6ut it really is t9 me. I appreciate it a l9t and 9n the su6ject 9f access9ries I d9n't think y9ur sign w9uld 6e t99 much. h9wever may6e s9mething spider themed w9uld l99k nice. Wither as a necklace 9r as a chest 6r9ach. I kn9w it's in a different area 6ut a head6and c9uld tie everything t9gether. it c9uld 6e as simple as a 6lue hued 9ne 9r may6e y9u c9uld fine 9ne that is a little m9re exciting. Pers9nally I think y9u w9uld l99k fine with9ut any 9f these things 6ut if y9u want t9 replace the necklace my suggesti9ns might help y9u.
