Streets 6} IX and Urrsus

IX played by King, Urrsus played by Morgue
It had been a terribly long day. Who knew wandering around the lowblood slums would be so dangerous...? Well, it wasn't like he was allowed to show his face in the highblood palaces. That would be too dangerous....The violet robot sighed, his hood pulled up and his head down. He'd taken the time to put makeup on his metal horn, making it look (somewhat) normal, color wise. He trudged like that, head down, heavy combat boots thudding against the ground as he kept his hands shoved in his pocket.[/container] Tapping away idly on his phone, Urrsus walked through the streets of the slums. Not sure how he got here, but didn’t really care too much. Where had he been going again? He couldn’t remember really, his memory sort of foggy from earlier.
Today had been a bad day, a bad shoot and a pushy photographer. A good walk had been just what he needed. He turned the corner, and as soon as he did ran right into the hooded troll in front of him. He let out a small “oomf!” upon collision, already annoyed with the situation.[/container] There was no sort of noise from the other troll, him simply landing on his ass right across from Urrsus. "ouch you...need to...watch where...you go...processing..." IX didn't seem very bothered, but did scramble back once he got a good look at Urrsus, he decided it would be better to get the fuck out of there. A highblood, here?! The troll was probably searching for him, since rumors had started to spread that IX was still alive.[/container] In the process of the collision Urrsus had managed to drop his phone, though hadn’t fallen over like the other troll had. “Ah, what the fuck? You’re just as guilty as I for not watching where you’re goin’! You’ve got your whole hood pulled over your eyes n’ shit!” He spat out his response as if the other troll had just insulted his lusus or something, being a lot more defensive than he needed to be about the situation. Urrsus took a moment to examine the troll across from him. Huge coat, hood pulled over his head, weird..horn thing.. what the hell was up with this guy? “What’s your deal huh? You’re walkin’ around like you’ve committed a crime. You look stupid.”[/container] "Oh good...you do...not know...me. I do...not want...to be...culled. I am...sorry for...running into...you. I will...be going...now...processing..." IX stood back up, tugging his hood down a bit more and then continuing his walk.[/container] “Hey! Do you have any fuckin’ manners?” Urrsus grabbed the sleeve of the other trolls coat, pulling it to keep him from leaving. “I asked you a question and you better answer it, dipshit! Now what’s your deal huh?” For such a small troll, Urrsus had a pretty strong grip on the violet’s coat.[/container] IX, the gentle giant that he was, looked down at Urrsus with complete stoicism. The metal side of his face was showing. "This is...why. it is...not very...pretty is...it? Processing..."[/container] Urrsus looked at the robotic part of the troll’s head, staring at it before furrowing his brows. A bit of sympathy bubbled inside him, and if you looked into his eyes you could see it. “Yeah it may not be pretty, but it’s no reason to walk around with your fuckin’ head down!” Urrsus stood back before planting his hands on his hips, staring up at the other troll with a scowl on his face. “So what you got a robot face? Fuckin’ own that shit man! Or don’t. Doesn’t really matter to me. I just know you look like a whole ass criminal when you walk around hunched over with your hood pulled up like that.”[/container] "I am...a criminal...I think...I could be...? I do...not know...processing..." He held onto his chin, thinking for a long time. His head was panging.[/container] Urrsus sneered. “You think? How the fuck do you not know if you’re a criminal or not?” Not once did Urrsus show an ounce of fear at the possibility of talking to a criminal. He’d seen a fair share of criminals, so why be scared of them now?[/container] "I do....not remember. processing..." IX seemed a bit sadder, holding his head. "I do....not remember...anything before...this. processing..." The man gestured to his own head.[/container] Urrsus nodded understandingly. “Something happen to your thinkpan? Damn, if you can’t remember anything before you got that metal piece than you must have hella amnesia!” He leaned up towards the other troll, examining the robotic part of his face. Talk about an invasion of personal space. “So what’s your name huh? Don’t tell me it’s somethin’ like ‘ripper’ or ‘bionic.’ That’d be WAY to fuckin’ cliche.”[/container] "...I was...called IX...it is...the only...name I...was given. Processing..." He sighed, beginning to wipe the paint off of his metal horn. It was uncomfortable.[/container] Urrsus eyed the horn before raising his eyebrow. He decided not to mention the fact that IX had smeared all the paint off of horn. “IX? Interesting name. Wonder what kind of nutjob gave you that name.” Still examining the robotic part of the other troll’s face, he tapped the metal part of it with one of his long, manicured nails. “How long ago didja’ have this put in?”[/container] "I dont know....months? Maybe a year....." He tilted his head, thinking before shaking his head. "I don't know. I'm sorry."[/container] “humph. So you’re a supposed criminal with hella amnesia, you got somethin’ wrong with your head so you got robot parts, and you’re just walking around with your head down low. Got it.” Urrsus leaned back away from IX, rocking back and forth on his feet. “Just another fuckin’ day in Amalgama..haha.” He let out a short chuckle after his sentence. “Anyways, was there anywhere particular you were headed?”[/container] "Just trying to get deeper into the slums....it's too open here....I thought you were going to kill me." He sighed softly, pulling his hood back up and hugging his coat close to himself.[/container] Urrsus’ face softened. This guy thought he was gonna kill him? Well, I suppose being a wanted criminal makes you have to think like that..then again Urrsus had been in that situation before too. Not as a wanted criminal, but as someone in the spotlight. Someone who had enemies. “Well fuck...I didn’t mean to give you that impression. Of course I ain’t gonna kill you. Murder isn’t worth my time, especially not on innocent people.” He averted his eyes, suddenly feeling a little awkward. “Sorry if I bothered you or whatever. You just caught my eye.”[/container] "it's alright....where are you headed." The troll asked, holding himself a bit tighter. There was no way that Urrsus was an assassin at this point, he looked like too much of a sissy.[/container] Urrsus crossed his arms, taking a moment to think. Where had he been heading? “I..don’t actually remember where I was going. Or how I got to this part of town.” He suddenly started to feel a little weary. Sure, he’d been walking here, but was it really safe for someone like him out here? I mean, there could be all kinds of people around these parts..crazed fans, serial killers, axe murderers, clowns..Urrsus shuddered at the thought of any of those kinds of people lurking around here.[/container] "Are you scared, grape.....?" IX tilted his head a bit, seemingly worried for the other troll.[/container] “G-grape? Who’re you callin’ a fuckin’ graph?” Urrsus balled his fists at his sides. “And I am NOT scared! It’s just..cold out here!” Urrsus obviously did a poor job at covering up his fear, still shaking in his boots a little bit.[/container] IX sighed softly, gently taking Urrsus's hand. "Let's go. I've got a.... safehouse. Somewhere." He sighed softly, looking away.[/container] Only making a slight verbal protest, Urrsus did nothing to pull his hand away from IX or anything like that. “Fine..lead the way or whatever.”[/container] IX lead the way quite easily through the alleyways, finally stopping at a rundown shack.[/container] Urrsus followed alongside IX until they made it to the shack. He stared at the shack for a second, mentally cringing before remembering some people weren’t as fortunate as him. “This the place?”[/container]
