Streets 3} Ladyak and Levi

Ladyak played by Julian, Levi played by Roj
{ Riding down in the cities wasn't something new to Ladyak. He's done it so many times that the cities lights didn't seem to phase him. He looked back at the freckled boy behind him. } "Woo! The wind is always nice, but the lights are much nicer!"   { He looked around at the lights from time to time, yet still keeping his eyes on the road behind his goggles. It was so much more fun with someone else with him. }[/container]
Levi still had his arms wrapped tight around Ladyak, yet with wide eyes. He was staring at the lights as they passed, the bright bulbs stabbing at his irises gently with every flash. He inhaled very deeply, taking in the wind and sighing heavily.   “It does look..very nice, I’ll admit,” Levi commented quietly, afraid he’d fall off if he dare move a slight bit.
{ He looked around at the cities, stopping at a specific area. It was a place that had people, but it wasn't overbearingly crowded. It's the cities, if you're not in an alleyway or something like that, there's bound to be people. The area he stopped was an area that had flashing lights, it looked pretty to matter where you turned. Ladyak then turned himself around, looking at Levi with his green eyes. } "Wow. It's a pretty sight, isn't it?"[/container]
Oh god. People. He sighed shakily under his breath, trying to keep it cool as he observed around him. It looked fine enough, I guess, but even small groups of people weren’t exactly his thing. Hell, even just one person made him worry.   Levi mumbled, nodding, “yeah, it’s pretty.”
"Ya never been out in the cities before?" Ladyak asked, raising his eyebrows. "You seem nervous. Don't worry, I get nervous in crowds. I guess... When im walking with someone, I just pretend that they don't exist, and it's just me and the other person there. But that's just what I do."[/container]
He wasn’t about to tell a stranger about why he doesn’t get out a lot. So instead, Levi shrugged. “I have. I just..don’t like socializing, I guess?” He lied partially, watching the other civilians with a grumble and what seemed to be irritation. Well, he was feigning irritation. In reality, he was just nervous.
He pat Levi's back. "Ya wanna head back to the alleyway? I just wanted to show you the lights in this side of the city. I knew it would make your uh.. what do you call those? Freckles? Yeah, well, the light shows them better." Ladyak chuckled, putting on his goggles again. Was the jadeblood attempting to flirt? Nobody knows. Limeon adjusted his fingerless leather gloves. }[/container]
Levi wrinkled his nose, his face now a little itchy as his skin somehow became aware of all the little dots. Felt like mini-needles. “Yeah, that’d be fine. I have somewhere to be soon, anyways.” He flinched when Ladyak pat him, unsure of how to react.   Again, he’s not the best with interacting. Period.
Ladyak nodded, revving up his motorcycle again. He started off, driving off under the city light. His long hair blew in the wind, he always had a wild grin on his face when he picked up speed. "So. Where ya headed after this, huh? I gotta get back to my lusus soon. He gets worried sick when I stay out too late." Limeon said, rolling his green eyes.[/container]
”Probably just back home to my old man,” Levi said as he fixed the backpack that sat uncomfortably on his back. He shrugged, “I don’t know if he’s worried.”
Ladyak drove quicker, listening to Levi as he spoke. Limeon was heading back to the alleyways, where he originally found Levi.[/container]
He groaned about how he didn’t want to go home quietly, resting his cheek on the other’s back and closing his eyes. Levi would much rather be out and about than be stuck in his God-Forsaken house. The place always filled him with resentment, yes it did.   He hated being trapped in there with a passion. Levi got that his uncle wanted to protect him, yes, but that doesn’t mean he should be excluded from the real world like he has been so far.   It all made him so angry. Just everything about the man in general. While he still loved him very much, the guy didn’t really seem to get the term of “healthy relationship”. Or maybe Levi was the one to make it that way, he didn’t know.
Ladyaks face underwent a pretty jade color once he left the other lean against him. He called out back, jokingly. "I know I'm comfy and all, but make sure ya don't fall asleep back there! Don't want ya fallin off!"   Ladyak chuckled to himself after, he likes having someone to talk to while riding. He's so used to riding around by himself, it's fun to have someone else to show the pretty city lights at night.   The jadeblood called back out to him. "You have a place ya wanna stop at before we head back?" Ladyak really wanted an excuse to get to know the freckled boy better, without making it too obvious.[/container]
”Mmm...” Levi sighed, “maybe to the mall or something...?” Yes, he did want to go shopping. “You could just drop me off. I’d be able to find my way back to my place.”   He was completely oblivious to Ladyak’s way of trying to stick around with him more. He was too busy trying not to fall asleep against him. Y’know, exactly the opposite of what the Troll said.
He nodded. "Yeah, we can head there, no problem! Ya sure you want to shop alone? I can shop with ya." Ladyak called out, still keeping his eyes on the road.   Ladyak smiled to himself, he didn't have fangs beside two bottom fangs that stick out, and when he smiles, they poke out.[/container]
”I don’t know, you wanna hold the bags?” Levi joked, propping up his chin on Ladyak’s back.   “It isn’t the most fun activity, at least- that part of it.”
"Yeah, I can hold yer bags!" Ladyak called out behind him so that his voice wouldn't be carried away by the wind. Ladyak chuckled, calling out once more. "You seem to like layin on me. The jacket comfy or just me?" Ladyak joked.[/container]
”Mmmf..just tired,” Levi stated with a yawn. He forced his eyes to stay wide, watching the road beneath the motorcycle as they sped along.   “Why? Does it feel weird or somethin..?” He prodded in inquiry, sitting up.
"Nah, the warmth is nice. Just getting me all embarrassed." Ladyak chuckled, steering the motorcycle. He liked Levi's presence, his face flushing over with a jade color. "You can always lean against me if ya need to, it doesn't bother me. When you're driving, sometimes it gets chilly, so the body heat is nice."[/container]
”Oh,” he replied shortly, allowing himself to slump back against Ladyak and hide his face in the other’s back.   “So- how did you learn how to drive this?” the human asked, obviously drowsy. One could tell just by the tone of his voice.
Ladyak chuckled. "Lots of crashes and falls. Eventually, I learned to drive it. And then I did it more often, and that's what got me so good at it." He turned to look at Levi with his Jadeblooded cheeks, smiling, his bottom fangs poking out. He opened up his mouth to say something, but decided against it out of sheer embarrassment.[/container]
Levi noticed this, but decided against prying. He knew he’d dislike it if someone were to get all snoopy in his business. You know how it is.   “Did you ever break anything?” Fuck. That was a weird question. Fuck, fuck, fuck- Just don’t panic, Levi told himself, internally screaming at how awkward he could get when sleepy.
"As a matter of fact, I did. I broke my leg, but that healed. I also broke my thumb, but I don't think it healed quite properly, cause check it." Using one hand to steer, he gave Levi a thumbs up, but his thumb bent back farther than it should have. He then quickly grabbed the other handlebar. "Yeah, thumb bones. You are really cute when you're sleepy, has anyone told you that?" He spoke, that's what he was going to say before, but didn't because he felt embarrassed. He was sweating, his cheeks still jaded. He also was now internally screaming.[/container]
”Yeah, when I was a baby,” Levi teased, making circles into Ladyak’s leather jacket with his finger subconsciously.   His cheeks were a little flushed, too, but he wasn’t about to admit that. Hell, he probably never would.
Ladyak smiled. Sometimes he forgets that young humans are called babies instead of grubs. His body seemed to loosen and be less tense as Levi circled his leather jacket. Ladyak always had a hard time with quadrants and emotions, so he also often tried to cover up things.[/container]
”You’re sure you’re okay with helping me shop? I don’t want to.. be any bother, man,” Levi asked, continuing to swirl his finger around a bit.   “Besides, I..uh..you may think I’m weird?” He mumbled, seeming to chuckle in embarrassment. His Uncle was so fixed on Gender roles, Levi himself thought something was wrong with him for liking, well..feminine clothing. That’s what Levi was worried about, Ladyak judging him for liking certain clothing.
"No, you're not a bother. I like havin ya around." He chuckled, smiling at him. He then raised his eyebrow. "Weird? Nah, im weird, man." Ladyak was driving in the direction of the mall. "I'd like to hang out with you more often... I think there's a reason we met." He said, tensing, realizing what he said. Ladyak was a firm believer in the whole "universe does things that were meant to happen, no matter how bad or crazy it seems" motto.[/container]
”A reason?” Levi said, amused by the thought. “And what reason do you think we met, hm?” He questioned, forcing himself to sit up straight as to make sure he didn’t doze off.   He wasn’t one to believe in magic, or miracles- things were just happening. No force behind them, no God or whatever. “Things could be explained with Science” his Uncle would always say. Not to slap down others beliefs, it’s definitely a cool concept and one he enjoys studying. But, at the moment such subjects didn’t seem all too..real to Levi. Maybe he’d just “lost faith” at this point, or whatever.
"Y'know... Like.. it just feels right, that we met. I just.. I took a quick liking to you, and.. not sure if ya feel the same for me, but yknow, ha." Ladyaks face went a jade color. He hoped that he didn't just give away his whole feelings, he always hid his feelings, no matter if it was anger, sadness, anything.   He was sweating now. He looked over behind him, his face jade, to try to make sense and get a hint of what Levi could be potentially feeling.[/container]
Levi’s face flushed. He felt embarrassed. What, was he supposed to like Ladyak just like that? Sure, he was cute but he didn’t exactly want to jump into a relationship blind. He wanted to at least know someone before even thinking of them like that.   He laughed nervously, “uh...you’re nice and all, but..shit like this..” he shrugged, “scares me?” Levi wasn’t one to admit shit like that. “Especially if it’s all quick and blind.”
"Ha! Me too." Ladyak said, chuckling. He set his hand down on the handle, his bottom fangs poking out from his lips. "Don't worry about it, I just like telling people when I find them attractive. Especially your uh.. your.. what were they called.. freckles! Really cute." Of course the wild, rough and tumble troll with the motorcycle liked the shy freckled boy. His seemingly enchanting green eyes under his goggles looked cool under the citys night lights as he sped by.[/container]
Levi laughed, “they are? Can’t say that I’ve ever gotten that compliment before,” he commented as he peered at the night lights overhead. They shone in his golden irises, reflecting the bulbs nicely.   He narrowed his eyes, not wanting to blind himself.
He leaned forward, speeding up as they drive over the freeway. "Well, ya really should! I find them cute." He shouted over his own shoulder, smiling.   Ladyak has always been a wild driver, but he was trying to make it an easier ride with the human on board.[/container]
Levi felt another chuckle coming on, his chest a little tight as he worried. He was scared now, unsure of how he felt at the moment.   The speed made him squeak and he clung onto the troll, squeezing him tight and keeping his eyes tightly shut.
He smiled, as he drove quickly. "Ah, don't worry. Just hold on!" He shouted behind him. Ladyak felt adrenaline as the wind blew through his own hair and as he felt the other behind him holding onto him tightly. Ladyaks heart was pounding.[/container]
He sighed shakily, “if you crash I swear to god-“ Levi’s voice had some amusement in it, to say the least. “Well..I’d be able to pay for any damage but please don’t.”   He ran his fingers through his wavy black hair, sighing in content with the wind. “This does feel nice, though.”
Ladyak laughed, reasurring Levi. "Don't worry, I've done way more crazier things with this motorcycle than this. I won't crash." The jadebloods greasy black hair blowing in the night wind looked rather pretty, despite his hair being a disaster.[/container]
”Anything that resulted in more broken bones?” Levi asked, cocking a brow and shifting a bit on the seat.   “I’ve never broken any bones. My pops doesn’t let me do dangerous stuff.”
"Ended up with a lot of sprains, but only two broken bones. For that, I'm lucky." Ladyak chuckled to himself. "You've never done something dangerous? It's so thrilling!" Ladyak said, gasping. Ladyak has done so much dangerous stunts, a few could've resulted in his death. His long hair got into his face.[/container]
”Eh, I don’t know. It sure sounds fun but I’d probably end up snapping my neck or something,” Levi joked. “Cause my pops a heart attack.” Maybe then the bastard’ll leave me alone.   He shook his head, really wishing shit like that didn’t pop into his brain like that. All these involuntary thoughts that he had honestly scared him.
"Psh, a heart attack, huh?" Ladyak raised his eyebrow. "Well, maybe sometime we can nighttime shop at a gas station. Not super dangerous, but it's fun and thrilling." Ladyak said. He was having a lot of fun talking about Levi, and Ladyak wasn't really thinking too much, just mainly about things he could show his new friend.[/container]
”You’d do that?” There was a hint of excitement in the young teen’s voice. “Are you sure? I don’t want to be annoying or anything, I’m sure you’ve got better things to do than take me everywhere.”
"Heck yeah I would do that!" Ladyak said. Ladyak was great at picking up body languages and tones in voice, so he picked up on Levi's excitement.* "Naaah, I don't really got too much to do... I usually just stay at my house.. I don't really got too many people to hang out with.. beside my lusus. I don't have a matesprit or a moirail." Ladyak said, sighing.[/container]
To be short, he still didn’t quite get the whole quadrant stuff with Trolls..again, he was pretty shielded considering a bunch of the other teens Levi rarely met.   “Is your lusus nice? I don’t know all that much about lusii, but with my understanding they’re just..parents but for Trolls?”
"My lusus is chill." He said, shrugging. "He likes to push me to my best, I know he just wants the best for me, but... Sometimes he just- pushes me a little bit too far, y'know?" Ladyak stated. His lusus was a cheetah. "Yeah, lusii are pretty much just parents for trolls."[/container]
Levi nodded.
